Meet the Founders of Moringa5000: Our Journey with Moringa

Dear friends,

We are Brian and Jenny, the founders of Moringa5000. Thirteen years ago, we embarked on a mission inspired by a dream to feed 5000 people with the most nutrient-dense plant on the planet: Moringa.

Why Moringa?

You might be wondering, why Moringa? In recent years, worldwide interest and consumption of Moringa have increased by around 100 times and are expected to continue growing by at least 8% every year until 2026!

I (Brian) was once prescribed various medications by doctors to address a range of conditions and was told I’d have to take them for the rest of my life. This changed when a friend introduced me to Moringa. I started taking a teaspoon of Moringa powder a day in my porridge, and today, I am medication-free with a dramatically improved quality of life thanks to Moringa.

Jenny and I found our calling and decided to start a business, even in our 50s. From humble beginnings at local farmers' markets to our presence in major pharmacies nationwide, our mission remains true: to become the provider of choice for Moringa products throughout Southern Africa.
